Davis Chamber of Commerce Lakesiders are a dedicated group of local business and professional leaders who invest their time and energy to serve as goodwill ambassadors for the Chamber. By representing the Chamber at community events and fostering meaningful connections, Lakesiders help strengthen partnerships, elevate local businesses, and promote a vibrant business climate across Davis County.

What is a Ribbon Cutting?

A Chamber ribbon cutting is a celebratory event that marks a business milestone such as a grand opening, new location, expansion, or major rebrand. These events provide businesses with visibility, community connection, and the opportunity to be recognized and supported by Chamber members, city leaders, and the local business community. Ribbon cuttings are a great way to introduce your business, build relationships, and celebrate your success.

Please Note: Businesses must be current members of the Davis Chamber of Commerce.

1 Complete the Ribbon Cutting

Request Form or contact the Chamber team to request a ribbon cutting and discuss preferred dates and details.

2 The Chamber will coordinate

Logistics, promotion, and attendance, including invitations to city representatives and the Lakesiders, our Chamber ambassadors.

3 On the day of the event

Chamber provides the ribbon, scissors, and program. Any additional elements such as food, giveaways, tours, or special activities can be coordinated by the business. This is their time to shine and showcase what they have to offer Davis County!
